I like that! It is an extension of a visual clue I had students come up with many years ago. Draw a cursive lower case y on a piece of paper; turn it upside down. The y becomes an h. A visual clue to remember y = # is a horizontal line.
Ooh, I hadn't heard of that y-h connection. It's almost like that math/artist that writes things so they read right-side-up and upside down.Thanks,Ms. Cookie
