I think that I'd try it Mimi's way because "sometimes, always, never" questions are often difficult for students. Thanks for the "group" idea!

GinnyGinnyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15325180146441005174noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-10220498.post-26481562228157521332010-09-01T08:36:23.423-05:002010-09-01T08:36:23.423-05:00I created a version of this activity for points, l...I created a version of this activity for points, lines, planes, but I had the kids mark "always true, never true, and sometimes true." They had to also draw different instances if they think it's only sometimes true. It was a time-consuming but (I think) worthwhile activity!untilnextstophttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15285583728476473117noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-10220498.post-66124344302523738602010-09-01T05:45:30.732-05:002010-09-01T05:45:30.732-05:00Stacy: I'm wondering if you still give it to t...Stacy: I'm wondering if you still give it to them if they'd get the true ones correct. Probably, but ....

Pissed Off: That's exactly what I was thinking. I've been talking at them a lot lately with all the definitions and such, so this was a nice break. At the end, we highlighted the true ones and I had them tape the cut sheet in their notebooks with a header of Postulates.Shireen Dadmehrhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16282965851939089408noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-10220498.post-57454193746166120192010-08-31T22:45:28.809-05:002010-08-31T22:45:28.809-05:00Great idea--I hate going over this stuff the usual...Great idea--I hate going over this stuff the usual way.
