I had done it a looong time ago but have forgotten it since. The one time I did this, I had made it into a treasure hunt. Your sentence contains a clue for where the treasure is hidden inside the classroom room! The trouble was, the kids got so excited over the treasure that they started to get really rowdy/crazy. :) Newbie mistake. hahauntilnextstophttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15285583728476473117noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-10220498.post-82493676312598198662010-03-21T09:03:00.077-05:002010-03-21T09:03:00.077-05:00Thank you for sharing, you made my Sunday. I guess when I think about it, when I'm revisiting math to teach and try the problems, I immediately check my answer to see if I know what I'm doing.

Ms. CookieShireen Dadmehrhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16282965851939089408noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-10220498.post-90207800849304724762010-03-20T23:31:32.176-05:002010-03-20T23:31:32.176-05:00The worksheet really did the trick for these kids....The worksheet really did the trick for these kids. I need to use the self-checking mechanism of the puzzle sheet more often. That was very helpful because the kids could take it home and work on it and know whether or not they were on the right track.mathmomhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05869925405540832241noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-10220498.post-57459869379380457782010-03-08T00:05:11.376-06:002010-03-08T00:05:11.376-06:00Cool fact, btw.
